Jelly Bean Nursery Fees and Funding Information

At Jelly Bean Nursery, we believe in transparency when it comes to our fees and funding arrangements. We are a private nursery, and while we offer a limited number of fully funded places, we also charge additional fees for consumables and the high-quality care and education we provide.

Our standard Unfunded hourly rate for 2 years old and above is £11.25.

Our standard Unfunded hourly rate for under 2s is £13.50.

All families are eligible for 15 hours of Government funding per week starting the term after their child turns 3.

The nursery claims the funding on your behalf, and you will not need to apply for this.

We will need an eligibility code to claim your working parent/Terrific Two funding if you wish to claim 15 or 30 hours per week (from the term after child is 2).

The funding provided by the government does not cover all the costs associated with the high-quality care and education we provide. Therefore, these charges help maintain our high standards.

Parents will be provided with a clear breakdown of what their payments contribute towards, including:

  • Qualified and experienced staff ensuring high-quality care.

  • Consumables such as snacks, art materials, and resources that enhance children’s learning experiences.

  • Additional services and activities beyond the basic funded offer, ensuring a rich and stimulating environment for your child.

Invoices are issued termly, with the options for half termly payments if preferred.

A £100 fee is required to secure your place, which includes a £60 administration cost and £40 will be deducted off your first invoice. This fee is non-refundable if you decide not to take the place.

You may also be eligible for tax free childcare, which offers a 20% discount on your fees. You can check your eligibility for funding, and tax-free childcare at:  www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

Please note we reserve the right to amend prices if government funding changes.

We offer limited free of charge places.
